Brook Lee's Homecoming
Brook Lee, the 1997 Miss Universe arrived home at Honolulu International Airport for the first time since winning the Miss Universe crown in Miami Beach. She was immediately met by reporters and well wishers.
In watching her for over half an hour, she met each person that approached her with the same fresh smile, full attention and lively response as she did with the first reporter. I was amazed to watch her greet each person with warmth and aloha, never tiring or becoming weary after a full day's travel from Minnesota through San Francisco. Watching her in action was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The through-the-lens (TTL) exposure control on the SB-26 flash and N90s complemented the clear optics of the 28-85mm F3.5-4.5 MF zoom and Fuji Reala ISO 100 film to capture this moment.
